Barb Moran
CEO / President / Owner Moran Family of Brands
As Co-founder of Moran Family of Brands, Barbara Moran has over 20 years experience within the franchising and automotive industry. This includes owning and operating a transmission franchise. Since 1999, Barb has applied this firsthand experience to her role as CEO/President of Moran Family of Brands. The Moran franchising opportunities include automotive service brands ranging from transmission repair, general engine repair & diagnostics to vehicle accessories and now commercial & residential window film installation. Under Barb’s leadership Moran Family of Brands was one of the first franchisors’ in the automotive aftermarket industry to offer multibrand opportunities within their auto franchise brand portfolio.

Ron Frydrychowski
Director, COO Moran Family of Brands
Ron Frydrychowski began working for Moran in 1992 as a Transmission Rebuilder/Assistant Technical Director and became our Technical Director in 1995. In 2007, Ron became the Chief Operations Officer of Moran and oversees our Franchise Services Departments including, Operations, Marketing and Technical. In 2009, he was appointed as a Director to Moran’s Board of Directors.
Ron is also one of our transmission franchise owners. He has co-owned B & R Transmission, Inc. d/b/a Multistate Transmissions in Oak Forest, Illinois since 2001, allowing him to offer practical experience when working with franchise owners.

Jack E. Yost, Jr.
Director, Vice President of Franchise Services, Moran Family of Brands
Jack E. Yost, Jr. has been employed in the Mr. Transmission franchise system in various capacities, including Center Manager, since 1974, and served as its Vice President of Franchise Development for the Southeastern United States from 1994 to 1999. In 1999, Jack became our Vice President of Corporate Services. In 2008, oversight of the Fleet Development Department was added to his responsibilities. In 2009, he was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors.

Tom Layman
President FAA Board, Multistate Franchisee
Tom Layman serves as the President of the Franchisee Advisory Alliance (FAA). This seven member board is elected by the Moran franchisees and works in conjunction with Moran Family of Brands to provide guidance, operational support and mentorship to the franchise system. Tom has been a Multistate franchisee in Waterford, Michigan since 1977 and has served as a charter member and FAA President since the boards inception.
